this is for everyone to know, drogarati cave is a cave that was full of stalaktites and stalagmites but since Maria Kallas said that it has excellent acoustic, they did something totally unacceptable. they cut many fm these rocks in order to make concerts inside the cave. As a result you will see many destroyed stalaktites...Also the people at the entrance who are asking for some money in order to get in but the only thing they are doing with these money is to pay for the lights inside the cave that same lights are destroying these magic rocks. these lights are not appropriate for these rocks and they are making them day by day dead...very very sad...in some years this cave will not be anymore alive.... I am very sad to discover all these things and I really want someone to care for this...

I thought that the Cave was fantastic even if there is over 120 steps to get down to(and up from)it. The entrance fee was only 3.50 euros as far as I can remember. The stalacmites and stalactites were excellent, and there are a couple of spectacular raised platforms within the cave created from the formations on which you can take some excellent photos. The walk back up to surface level though will have you gasping for a cool drink.
