I have to say that this complex is very clean and is well maintained however the prices at the bar are disgusting as are the prices in the shop that is run there 5 euros for a bottle of wine at Vagelelis Supermarket is 8 euros here. The water is 1.5 euros everwhere else it is 49 cents he charges way over the odds for everything. The complex is very pretty but that hill is too high to climb to get cheaper produce etc. A taxi costs 5 euros from Lassi and is the same from Arogosoli, right up that hill. 5 euros is the standard rate. We stayed a fortnight, I could tell you further things but if you want to email I will but not now.

We have stayed at the Liberatos Village 3 times and have had a great holiday each time. The rooms are all you need in Greece and the location and views are second to none. Yes there is a hill but you get used to it. The owner (George) is always happy and willing to help (watch out for his Greek dancing at the barby on Thursdays). The staff are excellent and always polite say Hi to Gerorge the barman. The main street in Lassi is OK for all kinds of resturants and bars we like Nefelli in Lassi and The Mandolin in Argostoli main square both excellent. Take a trip on the glass bottom boat and you may see the dolphins as we did.Book at the agent in Lassi high street. We will be going back next year so see you in July 2006 YAMMAS.

A week ago, my family and I returned from a 2 week holiday in Kefalonia. We went with family friends and we all had SUCH a fantastic time. Our ages ranged from 10 - 50 and the holiday provided something for everyone! Firstly, our accomodation - Liberatos Village was absolutely perfect. The apartments were clean and spacious, and maids came twice a week which was very pleasing. The views from our balcony, showing the sea were amazing and watching ths sun set in the evening was very romantic! The staff were all really friendly and were always there if you needed them. The pool was large and never packed - always a sun bed free and the poolside bar and mini market were great for food and drink. On the whole, Liberatos Village was brilliant, with great accomodation, a lovely site with fab pool and supermarket, not forgetting the hill, which was lovely in the evening after a night out in Lassi, but quite demanding during the day!! The restaurants in Lassi were everything we could have wished for! Helpful waiters, good food, lots of greek dansing and it was all really lively and sociable! It also felt very safe to be out until late. I would say, that staying in Lassi was absolutely perfect. Only 10 mins from the airport, 10 mins by taxi or bus to the capital of the island, Argastoli and even in Lassi itself there were brilliant bars and restaurants to keep everyone entertained. There were also two excellent beaches very close by, with a range of water sports available, snorkling and to just generally relax and have fun!
I would reccommend Lassi and Kefalonia to anyone as we had such an enjoyable time. I really really miss it but am thrilled that we will be returning again next year!
