Words can barely begin to express our trip to Kephalonia last July (2004. Firstly, the people of Kephalonia opened their hearts to us. We did not plan where we were going to go, where we were going to stay, but upon arrival, we met a cab driver at the airport, we asked him to take us to a place removed from the place tourists flock towards, He took us to Lixouri, we found a quiet seaside apartment, spent weeks embracing the local culture, explored magnificant beaches and countryside, and spent our evening in the town square, enjoying a drink each evening and watching life the way it was meant to be. Great food, great people and a great island. It was a trip beyond description. Motor scooter, car, cab or strolling, not one disappointment. Truly magnificant. We must return
