We spent 10 wonderful nights at the Mediterranee in May 2010. This is a very well run hotel with excellent staff who have their fingers on the pulse. Superb choice of food for breakfast and dinner make sure you try the fresh uncut bread in the mornings its how bread should taste.

We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Hotel Mediteranee,we had a very good holiday, the hotel could do with updating but otherwise it is an excellent hotel, it is very clean and the reception staff were very good and speak perfect english. The food is very very good with lots of choice we didn't seem to have the same food twice in the whole 2 weeks. Although the tables are rather close together if you prefer to just be on your own, but at least it was nice to speak to other guest on occasions. This hotel is idealy situated on the beach and the pool area was very clean. Lassi is just a short walk (up a hill) which does seem rather steep after you've eaten your evening meal. We paid extra for a sea view room and were very pleased we did so. We did encounter 2 earth tremours whilst we were there which was quite frightening but the Kefalonian people are used to them as they do happen quite often. All in all this is an excellent hotel to stay at and we spoke to lots of people who have returned to this hotel for many years.

A very good hotel out of the main town but the capital easy to reach if required. Adjacent to beach and hotel cafe. A must is a car to reach some of the out of the way places. The Island is one of the most scenic in Greece
